Sunday Worship

A warm invitation is extended to our morning service at 10.30am every Sunday. All ages are catered for during the service which lasts about one hour with tea & coffee served afterwards. On Sunday evenings we share in worship with the other churches in the Circuit as shown in the Circuit Plan.

Church Building

The present building is the third to have been erected on this site. It was completed in 1988 as a multi-purpose building serving church and community.

The main hall (seating up to 150 people), meeting room, kitchen and toilets are fully-accessible with some additional rooms upstairs. The premises are used seven days a week by a variety of church and community groups. Bradford South & West Live At Home Scheme uses the church as a base for its work with older people in Clayton.

Clayton is on the outskirts of Bradford between Thornton, Queensbury and Lidget Green.

Clayton Methodist Church is situated towards the top of Clayton Lane above The Fleece pub and opposite Green Top nursery with the terminus of the Orange Line (buses 636 & 637) nearby.

We are one of five churches of different denominations serving Clayton, which retains its village character in spite of extensive new housing development.
